Safentora exists because the family safety market forced a bad choice: powerful tools that spy, or respectful tools that barely work. We think transparency and capability belong in the same app.
We're engineers and parents. When we looked for a monitoring app we'd be comfortable installing on our own kids' phones, everything either hid itself from the child, hoarded permissions it couldn't justify, or quietly monetized the family's data. So we built the app we wanted to exist.
The result is opinionated: monitoring your child can always see, permissions documented down to the manifest line, enforcement that shows its name on the child's screen, and a security architecture we publish rather than gesture at. If a feature would require deceiving the child to work, we don't ship it.
Safentora is currently in its early-access phase, Android-first, and under active development — the Security page lists what's built and what's still on the roadmap, in public.
